Evaluation of New or Existing Raw Materials
Cosmetech Laboratories has extensive experience in evaluating new raw materials to determine their relative performance versus currently market leaders.  We can compare your new raw material to materials  of the same or similar chemistry or materials based on different chemistry but similar functionality.  Cosmetech Laboratories can also develop personal care formulations to guide the formulation chemist that is interested in using your material.
Stability Testing
We will test your product in both glass jars and your packaging to determine whether it will stand up to the rigors of long term storage conditions...to include: 45C, 25C, freeze/thaw (3 cycles) and window (exposure to UV radiation). We will monitor: pH, viscosity, color, odor, signs of physical separation, weight loss and package integrity.

 
Consultations

Cosmetech Laboratories offers non-lab consulting services to assist companies that  do not need laboratory work, but instead seek advice on problems encountered on their current formulations. Other areas that Cosmetech Laboratories offer consultations in are: 

Labeling- Developing labels that meet FDA requirement regarding ingredient nomenclature, weights and measure

Advertising Claims- What claims can be made for the ingredients incorporated into your formula and claims for the finished product;

Scale-Up and Production- Ease transition from the lab bench to the production tank by working with you and your manufacturing facility.
