Ken lives in Northern California where he operates
Cosmetech West.
He has a BS in Chemistry from CCNY and an MS from Long Island
University. Ken has been in the Cosmetics industry for for
more than 35 years with finished goods houses (7 years at Lever
Brothers) as well as raw material suppliers. Before
joining Cosmetech Laboratories, Ken was Technical Director for
Van Dyk and prior to that was Manager of Technical Services at
Henkel.
He is a fellow of the Society of
Cosmetic Chemists and of the American Institute of Chemists.
Ken is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dicinson University and
an instructor for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists where he
teaches courses in: Cosmetic Formulations, Sunscreens, Emulsions
and Computers. He is a frequent speaker at Scientific
conferences in America as well as in Europe and South America.
He has published numerous papers, hold several patents and has
authored a chapter on Sunscreen formulation published by Marcel
Decker. Ken has the distinguished honor of being the 2002
recipient of the esteemed Spirit of Sam Award.
